Three people fell in love over noisy soundscapes and purple stars. Influenced by too many coffee and cigarettes while listening to My Bloody Valentine vinyls in the dark they put together fuzzy reverb guitars with punk rock attitude. They went out to play every gig they could and shared the stage with bands like We Were Promised Jetpacks, Tamaryn, Yuck and The Megaphonic Thrift.

In June 2014 JAGUWAR released their first EP, simply titled 'I', including 4 songs full of noisy old schoolish Shoegaze. The responses were incredible and the Shoegaze press fell in love head over heels. In 2015 Jaguwar participated in several compilation projects such as 'REVOLUTION – The Shoegaze Revival' by Ear to Ear Records and Gerpfast Kolektif and 'Leave Them All Behind – A Ride Tribute' (with a cover of 'Today') by The Blog That Celebrates Itself Records, even they rerelease a remastered and physical version of their first EP "I" via the Boston Indielabel Prospect Records.

The spring of 2016 starts with a bang and the release of their second EP "II", which features more thickness and melodic bliss then ever before.

Mumrunner deal with aesthetics from contrasting aspects of sound: sometimes abrasive alternative rock melds with dream popsoundscapes that gives the impression of being otherworldly. The Tampere, Finland based band love to play loud but never forsake an interest in subtler dynamics which makes Mumrunner’s ambitions unique and special.
