Es wintert schon fleißig – doch wir schwitzen weiter! Für unsere sechste Ausgabe kehren wir mit einer wahren Highlight-Session in die Glocke zurück, es kribbelt uns schon in den Beinen vor Freude. Mit dabei sind diesmal die Slow Nights, die mit ihrem ungemein stimmungsvollen und aufregenden Alternative Rock regelmäßig Herzen und Füße hüpfen lassen. Die Jungs von Inlier verbinden fette Riffs mit der richtigen Prise Elektronik und haben mit ihrer vor kurzem erschienen EP bewiesen, dass man in München keine Sorge um den Rocker-Nachwuchs zu haben braucht. Außerdem geben Braindead Wavelength nach über zwei Jahren Pause ihr ausgesprochen heiß ersehntes Bühnencomeback! Seinen unvergleichlich melodisch grungigen Metal hat das Trio während Corona auf eine zweite Platte gepresst, jetzt bringen sie Röhren endlich auch mal außerhalb des Studios wieder auf Betriebstemperatur. Wir freuen uns auf einen fetten Abend!
The Slow Nights
Musik wie aus Filmwelten. Nicht kompliziert, nicht angepasst, nicht modern. Die drei Musiker machen bereits seit fast 16 Jahren zusammen in wechselnden Besetzungen Musik (Gravity Lost, Look Homeward Angel, Modern Grey). Ihre Faszination für die Musik der 60er und 70er Jahre und deren ungezügelten Energie brachte die drei dazu die Band „The Slow Nights“ zu gründen.
Inlier
INLIER vereinen Elemente aus Punk Rock, Metal und Elektronischer Musik zu einem einzigartigen und authentischen Klangbild. Modernes und innovatives Sounddesign gepaart mit klassischen Riffs und kratzigen Vocals verleihen der Band ihren charakteristischen Sound, der sich schwer in eine Schublade stecken lässt.
Gegründet 2019 in München von Ben Dages (Drums) und Leo Zinsler (Vocals, Gitarre) nahm die Band ihre Anfänge als zweiköpfige Coverband in einem Keller in München. Bald ergänzt durch Mario Heitmayr (Solo Gitarre) und Kilian Schülen (Bass, Keyboard) begannen die vier ihre gemeinsamen musikalischen Einflüsse in eigene Songs einzuarbeiten. Seit dem Release der ersten Single „Dust“ im Sommer 2020 konnte INLIER auch im Live Bereich punkten und die Jurys bei diversen Bandcontests von sich überzeugen. Nach Veröffentlichung der Single „Home Sweet Home“ hat am 01.09. 2022 mit der ersten EP „MERRY AND MOTIONLESS“ die bisher größte eigene Produktion der jungen Band das Licht der Welt erblicken.

Braindead Wavelength
Braindead Wavelength travels through the ages of heavy, yet at times dreamy guitar music. Mixing different genre’s to create a state of confusion, yet balanced sound individual to Braindead Wavelength. A note of Celtic Folklore introduces to album, which quickly interconnects with Thrash style riffs. Progressing to outright ‚popesque‘ or ‚airtime‘ catchyness, giving the 90’s a chance at shining bright once again. Melody is key, however musically, a long shot away from feel good. Haunting Harmonies remind us of the devil on
our shoulder, along with Social anxieties that accompany us daily.
Braindead Wavelength originally formed on Anglesey, Wales in the Summer of 2012. The name ‚Braindead Wavelength‘ derives from two guys throwing out random words on the count of three. Since emigrating to Germany in 2013, Ben started Braindead Wavelength fresh in the underground scene in Munich, with Charlotte (bass) and Fred (drums) joining the band in the Summer of 2013. It was then the music started taking it’s true form.
Melodic grunge metal in it’s most weird and wonderful description. Following Fred’s departure for Australian emigration, Daniel joined the band as the drummer in the summer of 2014. Shortly after, Braindead Wavelength recorded their first self titled demo. Early 2015, Braindead Wavelength reached the final of the ‚Sprungbrett‘ competition, where they were awarded financially with enough to record their first full feature length Album. September 2015 saw the recording of a three track e.p titled ‚Lost in Sin‘, where Braindead Wavelength returned to Anglesey, Wales to record with an old friend. 2016, Braindead Wavelength’s first album was in the pipeline. Recording with Wolfgang Wiemer (a peer to the band), was an inspirational phase in the bands life. Challenging the way they approached the songs, and ready to learn and adapt. August 12th 2016, ‚Druid Stomp‘ was released, and among the Braindead fans, very well accepted and to many a wonder, how an unsigned band were able to release a very professionally produced
record.
Following the same pattern, Braindead Wavelength self released their latest album on the 30th of October 2021 titled ‚Life’s Funny Ways‘, and have so far received fantastic reviews for their long anticipated follow up album.
Following a short hiatus, Braindead Wavelength is very excited to announce their upcoming shows at the end of 2022 to finally introduce their second full feature length album live.
