Die Münchener Band „Monkey Pepper“ hat keinen geringeren Anspruch als eure Köpfe zum Nicken und eure Hintern zum Wackeln zu bringen! Ihre Songs sind das Ergebnis post-pandemischer Jam Sessions, die jede Woche im eigenen Proberaum stattfinden. Englisch ist dort die Amtssprache, denn Monkey Pepper kann aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Herkunftsländer der bühnenerprobten Musiker auch gut und gern als“European Diaspora“ bezeichnet werden.

Funky Soul trifft hier auf melancholischen Pop, dazu eine Prise Indie Rock, ein Hauch von Latin und Elemente elektronischer Musik kommt in diesem Schmelztiegel zusammen und bringt Hits wie „Champagne Powder“, „Q&Q“ oder „Genealogy of Ideas“ direkt zu euch. Man hört, dass diese Band das Jammen beherrscht: Bei ausladenden Sessions wird jede musikalische Idee bis ans Limit abgefeiert! Derzeit schreiben die Newcomer ihre erste EP und für Live ist das Ziel klar: Dem Publikum einen großartigen Abend bescheren und Euch mit echter Energie und Liebe zur Musik mitreißen.

Monkey pepper is a new Munich band that will seduce your ears and make your ass shake. Their songs are the product of more than a year worth of post-pandemic jam sessions in their rehearsal studio. Just as they are, their Style is a wild mix and is meticulously shaped by this „European diaspora“ of experienced musicians, as each one of them comes from a different country, making English the predominant language.

Funky Soul meets mellow Pop sprinkled with hints of indie rock, latin and even electronic elements get together in this melting pot that not only creates hits like Champagne Powder, Q&Q or Genealogy of Ideas, but also takes pride on being a great jam band that will take any musical idea to its limits! 

Currently working on their first EP, chances are high that if you come see them you’ll have a great time and you’ll feel the Energy. More Passion! More footwork!
