his is not a tribute/cover band with 3 members wearing suits..
This line up features punk musicians who want to pay their homage to Paul Weller’s music and to #TheJam!!
I’ve always wanted to pay a tribute to the Jam.
It’s all about friendship and musicianship.
It’s all about not trying to look like the Jam, 3 lads in black suits, and play note for note Weller’s songs, the band will play its own versions of the songs.
It’s all about paying a tribute to one of the finest band England ever produced!!
It’s all about punk musicians paying a tribute to a band’s work and paying a tribute to f***in great songs!!

Nasty Rumours sind eine Punkrock/Powerpop Band aus Bern, Schweiz. Die vier Herren sind alles alte Hasen im Rock’n’Roll-Business und haben ihre Erfahrungen in diversen anderen Schweizer Combos gesammelt.
Mit Nasty Rumours frönen Juli ( #TheStrapones, #BadMojos), Flo ( #Skaladdin), Jamous ( #TightFinks) und Danny ( #The Fuckadies, #Unhold, #Delilahs) dem guten alten englischen Punkrock. Im Jahre 2013 gegründet, haben die Jungs Konzerte quer durch Europa gespielt und sind im Oktober 2016 gar auf die andere Seite dieser Welt gesegelt, um ihre Powerpop-Punkrock-Hymnen auch in Australien und Südafrika zu verbreiten. Zudem wurden fünf Singles und eine LP auf internationalen Labels veröffentlicht.
Die Bühnen dieser Welt wurden mit Bands wie #UKSubs, #TheAdicts, #StiffLittleFingers, #999, #Terrorgruppe, #TheBaboonShow u.a. geteilt. Und all dies ist nun definitiv nicht nur ein übles Gerücht…!
Am 5.Oktober 2018 kam ihr neues Machwerk Straight To Your Heart (Wanda Records, LP only) heraus.
